Try this delicious medicinal herb bone broth to help boost your immunity and restore and maintain your health.

Ingredients

  • Organic, grass fed Beef bones

  • 4 Carrots, skin on, chopped in large pieces

  • 4 Celery, skin on, chopped in large pieces

  • 3 Onions, skin on, chopped in half

  • 1 bunch Parsley

  • 1/4 cup Braggs apple cider vinegar

  • 2 whole heads Garlic, skin on

  • 1 Ginger root

  • 2 Turmeric roots

  • Handful Dried Medicinal Mushrooms - Reishi, Shitake, Maitake, Chaga, Turkey Tail or any that you have on hand

Instructions

  1. Add beef bones to crock pot or pot with tight fitting lid

  2. Add remaining ingredients

  3. Cover with filtered water

  4. Bring to a boil

  5. Lower heat simmer for 24-60 hours (the longer the better!)

  6. Let the broth cool, then strain it through a mesh strainer

When cooled, the broth should have a thick layer of fat on top. Keep this healthy fat!

Storage Options

  1. Daily Broth: Pour broth into an ice cube tray. Once frozen, pop out the cubes and store in a freezer safe bag. Each day heat a cube and drink or add to your hot drinks or meals.

  2. Reserved Broth: Store in air tight containers (If you're using plastic containers, wait until the broth is cooled completely)

Leftover Idea (Optional)

  1. Use the strained ingredients to make nutritious dog food

  2. Add the strained ingredients to a blender

  3. Blend until smooth (you may have to add some water)

  4. Store in airtight containers

  5. Feed to your furry friends!
